With overnight accommodations for up to 12 passengers, MV KRAKEN offers an intimate yet immersive setting perfect for corporate gatherings, private celebrations, children’s parties, and sophisticated adult events. MEET THE CAPTAIN
Meet Captain Frank — a true New Yorker with saltwater in his veins and a lifelong love affair with the sea. As the proud owner and operator of Enchanted Charters LLC, Captain Frank brings imagination, experience, and heart to every voyage across New York Harbor.
In 2023, Captain Frank launched Enchanted Charters after recognizing that while New York offers countless attractions, there weren’t many charter companies focused on delivering truly fun, family-friendly experiences on the water. Determined to change that, he created a company where adventure, creativity, and maritime tradition come together aboard his two vessels — “Sonny Daze” and the mighty “MV Kraken.”
But Captain Frank’s story didn’t begin there. A Staten Island native, he grew up immersed in the maritime world through his family’s business, Henry Marine Service Inc. He started working at just 15 years old, spending summers and weekends learning the ropes — quite literally. After high school, he answered what he calls the “call of the sea,” committing full-time to the maritime towing industry, where he has built a career spanning more than three decades. Today, he continues to work as a full-time captain with companies throughout NYC and along the East Coast.
When he’s not navigating commercial vessels or crafting magical charter experiences, Captain Frank can be found doing what he loves most — spending quality time on the water with his five boys aboard “Sonny Daze.” An avid fisherman and natural mariner, he doesn’t just captain boats — he lives the boating life. With deep roots in the maritime industry and a passion for creating unforgettable moments, Captain Frank is steering Enchanted Charters toward a future filled with adventure, imagination, and plenty of sea stories to tell.
