M/V Kraken
105'
Tugboat Mega Yacht

The M/V Kraken has significant ties to New York City’s rich maritime history and is a one-of-a-kind vessel.  She’s a 105’ retired historic tugboat that has been converted into a luxurious yacht, and is now USCG documented to carry passengers. She is a steel structured vessel that was built in 1954, by RTC Shipbuilding Incorporated of Camden, New Jersey and worked as a railroad tugboat for many years around the area.  Over the years, she has been involved in many maritime construction projects, like the South Street Seaport rebuild, the new Tappanzee Bridge project, reconstruction of the Statue of Liberty pier damaged by super storm Sandy as well as the Brooklyn Park piers to name a few. The M/V Kraken is also in the process of being registered in the National Historic Registry.
